Jeetendra to judge Jhalak
‘Jumping Jack’ Jeetendra will be one of the judges of the dancing competition Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
Speaking about the show he says, “I like the concept of Jhalak and hence decided to give my nod. Styles of dances keep on changing and that is what we have to judge here. It is a good platform for people to showcase their talent. In our times too people used to have a lot of dancing talent but they never got any chance to exhibit it. Ganpati was the only festival where they used to dance and get noticed.”
You were more a more than good dancer yourself at your peak. “People called me a good dancer but on the very first day I went to my dance master I realized that I cannot dance at all. Actually, I did those films because I had no option other than to accept those films rejected by big stars. I was from lower middle class family.”
Jhalak is starting from September 28. The other two judge of the show are Urmila Matondkar and Shiamak Dawar. Rohit Roy and last season’s winner Mona Singh will host the show.
