Gangotri Iron & Steel Company Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 16, 2008, has approved and adopted the draft letter of offer prepared in connection with the proposed right issue of 61,53,680 equity shares of Rs 10/- each at a premium of Rs 10/-, in the ratio of 4 (four) Equity Shares for every 5 (five) Equity Shares held and matters connected therewith.
