Godrej Consumer Products Ltd has informed BSE that it is proposed to circulate on May 30, 2008, a proposal to the Board of Directors of the Company to consider the utilization of the Securities Premium Account for adjusting the balance in the Intangibles- Trade Marks and Brands under the provisions of Section 78 read with Section 100 of the Companies Act, 1956 subject to the approval given by shareholders and Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay and also convening the extra ordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the Company to seek the necessary approval.
