Jindal Stainless Ltd has informed BSE that on March 21, 2008, the Company has allotted 39,72,450 equity shares of Rs 2/- each (representing 2.57% of the paid up share capital of the Company) upon conversion of 39,72,450 convertible warrants, to the following promoters of the Company:

1. Sh. Ratan Jindal - 35,75,000 No. of Shares - 2.31%

2. Jindal Overseas Holdings Ltd - 3,97,450 No. of Shares - 0.26%

Consequent upon the above said allotment the paid up equity share capital of the Company has increased from Rs 30,12,24,964/- to Rs 30,91,69,864/- divided into 15,45,84,932 equity shares of Rs 2/- each and shareholding of promoter group has increased from 41.79% to 43.29%.
