JSW Steel Ltd has informed BSE regarding a Press Release dated May 14, 2008 titled “14% growth in April 2008 in Crude Steel production”.

“JSW Steel Ltd posted 14% growth in crude steel production in April’ 2008 including production of Salem works for corresponding period on comparable basis. The Company has also achieved 12% growth Rolled flat product (HR Coils & Plates) & 33% growth in Rolled long products segments. The break-up of production is as below.
