Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has informed BSE that Ministry of Power vide its order dt. July 08, 2008 has conveyed the appointment by the President of Shri. S K Chaturvedi, Director (Personnel). National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) to the post of Chairman and Managing Director of POWERGRID w.e.f. the date of his taking charge of the post on or after August 01, 2008, for a period of five years or till the date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever event occurs the earliest.
