Pyramid Saimira Theatre Ltd has announced that the Company has organized Drums of Unity Ey Aa O, a cultural event at Lady Andal School. The show was presented by internationally acclaimed group, Boddhimuzzik. The group, led by Jacob Paul, had the audience spellbound through the length of the show. This was the troop which toured China in March 2008 and performed in the cities of Beijing and Nanjing, organized by Pyramid Saimira Group as part of the signing ceremony.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. P S Saminathan, Group Chairman, Pyramid Saimira Group, said, “Indian entertainment & cultural industry has strong roots and is of world class standards. We need to use our cultural heritage more and become the cultural and entertainment torch bearer to the world, overtaking Hollywood. China is encouraging people-to-people cultural exchanges and also development of soft industries, in China, as part of their next round of growth, as well as inclusive strategy. After a long time, the country has started opening up to international influences also.”

The other Guests of honour at the cultural event included Mr. S Regupathy, Honourable Minister of State for Environment & Forests and Mr. Thangam Thennarasu, Honourable Minister for School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.
