Reliance Power Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has appointed Shri. J P Chalasani, former Whole-time Director (Business Development) of Reliance Energy Ltd as CEO of the Company.

In this regard the Company has issued the following Press Release:

“Mr. J P Chalasani former Whole-time Director (Business Development) of Reliance Energy Ltd has taken over as the Chief Executive of Reliance Power Ltd.

Mr. J P Chalasani has tendered his resignation from the Board of Reliance Energy Ltd with effect from March 07, 2008.”
