Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 24, 2008 has approved a proposal for formation of Joint Venture Company in consortium with other Companies i.e. Shapoorji Pallonji Co Ltd & Nandan Biomatrix Ltd for establishment of Bio-Diesel Value Chain in the State of U.P by subscribing to 33.33% of equity capital to the extent of Rs 266 crore.
