Cairn India Ltd has informed BSE that the chief operating officer of the Company, Laurie Smyth, has announced his intention to retire from full time employment when his current contract expires in April 2008. He will step down as a full time director of the Company in January 2008.
Phil Tracy the Engineering and Operations Director of Carin Energy PLC will return to the Company to join the Rajasthan Project Management board with Immediate effect.
