Chembond Chemicals Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant to the Order dated April 25, 2008 passed by the Hon’ble High Court of judicature at Bombay in the matter of Amalgamation of Shree Mahalasa Electronics Pvt Ltd with Chembond Chemicals Ltd, a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Company will be held on May 24, 2008.

The Hon’ble Court has appointed Mr. Sameer V Shah, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of the Company and failing him Mr. Nirmal V Shah, Joint Managing Director of the Company, to be Chairman of the said meeting.
