DCB clarifies on news item
With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled “DCB seeks to merge with a larger bank”, Development Credit Bank Ltd (DCB) has clarified to BSE that the Bank denies any such developments as referred in the said article and the information published as pertaining to Development credit Bank is incorrect and has no relevance. DCB is not seeking to merge with a larger bank and the information is factually incorrect and misrepresented.
DCB would like to clarify that the article’s headline is misleading and the news report on the merger plan is completely incorrect. The bank wishes to remain independent and grow the business as per its own strength and capabilities.
