EPIC Energy clarifies on news item
With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled “EPIC Energy moves up govt order buzz”, EPIC Energy Ltd has clarified to BSE that the Company would not like to comment on the same. Nevertheless, the Company offer its comments on the business of the Company as under:
The business profile is such that it entails the Company to procure orders from various government / semi-government departments spread all over the country. Presently, the major source of business of the Company is, essentially, the government departments. At any given point of time, 3 to 4 order from various government departments are in the pipeline. Even today there are quite a few orders on the anvil. Also, the Company has made a number of acquisitions in the recent past, for which adequate disclosures have been made to the Exchange. The business plan of the Company entails a constant endeavor to look to acquire Companies which are a proper fit to further the Company’s business objectives. At present, there are no Companies which have been finalized for acquisition.
The Company make it a point to intimate the Exchanges as and when new developments takes place.
