Shipping Corporation of India Ltd has informed BSE that the Company’s Board has in terms of letter received from the Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, appointed Shri. S C Tripathi as a non-official part-time Director on the Board of the Company. The appointment has just takes effect; however, since the approval for appointment was sought by way of circular resolution, affirmations from all Directors are awaited.
