SRF Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 17, 2007, inter alia, has approved the following capital expenditure proposals:

1. Setting up of a second line of Biaxially Oriented Polyester (BOPET) Film with a capacity of 27000 MT (approx.) at an approximate cost of Rs 165 crores at a location to be determined later.

2. Setting up of a 15 MW Wind power farm in Tamil Nadu at a cost of Rs 92 crores (approx) for captive use.

3. Installation of un-interrupted power supply system for critical loads at Technical Textiles Business (Manali) at a cost of Rs 11.68 crores.
