With reference to the earlier announcement dated May 14, 2008 regarding fixes Book Closure for AGM, Tinplate Company of India Ltd has now informed BSE that due to unavoidable circumstances the date of 89th Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Company has been postponed and will now be held on “August 29, 2008″ instead of “July 24, 2008″.

In view of the above, the Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain now closed from August 12, 2008 to August 29, 2008 (both days inclusive) (Revised) for the purpose of 89th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company to be held on August 29, 2008.

Further the Company has informed that, the Company has not declared any dividend for the year ended March 31, 2008.
