Vishnu Chemicals Ltd has informed BSE that “Income Tax Authorities have conducted search u/s 132 of the Income Tax Act on February 19, 2008. During the course of the search they have kept certain books, documents, computers and original server under their custody. The process of releasing all the documents, computers, server, books either Xerox copy / original has been completed only May 26, 2008.

Further the Company has informed that its staff were busy in clarifying the departments queries, which were lasts till June 10, 2008.

After completion of the release only, the Auditors could able to access to all the books i.e. only in the first week of June 2008. Since then they have taken up the audit and it could not be completed till date as the period is short. In these circumstances the Company is not in a position to declare the audited results on or before June 30, 2008.“
