Bank of Maharashtra - Change in Directorate
Bank of Maharashtra has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of subsection (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act,1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause (3), clause (5), clause (6), clause (7) and sub-clause (1) of clause 8 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs vide their notification dated June 04, 2008 has appointed Shri. Allen C A Pereira as Chairman and Managing Director from the date of taking charge and till September 30, 2010, i.e. the date of his superannuation or until further orders whichever is earlier.
Shri. Allen C A Pereira has taken over the charge of the Bank on June 04, 2008.
