EPIC Energy Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has acquired the business of M M Associates (MMA) a leading Electrical Designing and Contracting firm in Kozhikode, Kerala. Founded by Mr. A P Mohanan, MMA has a successful history of 24 years, with a current revenue run rate of Rs 500 lakhs per annum.

MMA has an expert team of Design Engineers and Technical Professionals who are well experienced in the Design and Execution of Electrical Installations in any kind of Industry and for Electricity Generation, Transmission and Distribution projects. MMA has successfully executed a number of Electrical projects in Kerala for Steel Plants. Flour Mills, Hospitals and Multistoried Commercial and Domestic Complexes. Amongst the more prestigious clients and projects of MMA are CPWD. Kerala, various BSNL projects in Kerala, Minor Irrigation projects in Malappuram District, KSRTC Regional Workshop, Nadakkavvu, Kozhikode, Chinmaya Educational Trust, Cannur, 16 MW Hydro Electric Project at Andaman Nicobar island for NHPC, U B Breweries, Palakkad, and Erection & Commissioning of 255KW Wind mill at Tata Tea.

With the acquisition of MMA, Epic will be in a position to offer both Demand Side and Supply Side Energy Management Solutions to its customer. The acquisition also brings with it a prestigious customer base which can be tapped to offer the existing Demand Side Energy Management Solutions of Epic.
