HDFC Bank Ltd has informed BSE that Share Allotment Committee of the Bank at its meeting held on June 24, 2008 have allotted 6,98,83,956 equity shares of Rs 10/- each to the shareholders of Centurion Bank of Punjab Ltd pursuant to the share swap ratio of one (1) equity share of Rs 10/- each of HDFC Bank Ltd for every twenty nine (29) equity shares of Rs 1/- each held in Centurion Bank of Punjab Ltd. by them as on the Record Date i.e. June 16, 2008.
