Infrastructure Development Finance Company Ltd (IDFC) has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 29, 2008, has approved the proposal to amend the Object Clause of its Memorandum of Association by adding new activities in the areas of developing and maintaining infrastructure projects, financial assistance to manufacturers / lessors of infrastructure equipment, engaging in asset management activities and engaging in all infrastructure related activities and decided to seek the approval of Members for the same through postal ballot voting process.

The voting rights of members shall be calculated on March 31, 2008, which is the cut?off
date.
