With reference to the earlier announcement dated March 14, 2008 regarding Result of Postal Ballot, JM Financial Ltd has clarified to BSE that the said Special Resolution passed with requisite majority through Postal Ballot was for authorising the Board of Directors to contribute to the Charitable and other Funds in excess of the limits prescribed under Section 293(1)(e) of the Companies Act, 1956.
