Kerala Chemicals & Proteins Ltd has informed BSE that consequent to the expiry of the term of office of Mr. A K Nair, Managing Director, the Board of Directors of the Company has decided to appoint Mr. G Suseelan as Managing Director w.e.f. April 01, 2008 for a period of 3 years, subject to the approval of shareholders.

The Board of Directors has also proposed to Change the name of the Company from “Kerala Chemicals and Proteins Ltd” to “Nitta Gelatin India Ltd”, subject to the approval of Shareholders and the Registrar of Companies / Central Government.
