Monsanto India Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 15, 2008, inter alia, has declared a 2nd Interim Dividend as a Special Dividend of Rs 180/- per share for the financial year 2007-2008. This 2nd Interim Dividend has been declared by the Board out of the surplus funds generated by the Company from the recent divestiture of certain businesses that have been approved by the shareholders and accumulated profits.
