With reference to the earlier announcement dated July 02, 2008 with respect to exparte stay granted by Hon’ble Supreme Court against carrying out construction activities in SEZ at Mundra, Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone Ltd has now informed BSE as under:

“A bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan has dismissed the petition of fisherman as withdrawn today. With this dismissal of the petition the ex-parte stay order passed by the Supreme Court no longer remains valid. The work in SEZ therefore, will continue as per the plans, hereafter”.
