Reliance Energy Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 28, 2008, inter alia, has recommended a Dividend of Rs 6.30 per share (63%) on fully paid up equity shares of Rs 10 each for the year 2007-08. The dividend will be paid on the equity share capital of Rs 235.62 crore.

Further the Company has informed that, the Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from July 08, 2008 to July 15, 2008 for the purpose of payment of dividend & Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company.
