Reliance Energy Ltd has informed BSE that the Company on April 08, 2008 has bought-back 81,680 equity shares of the Company.

Since the commencement of the buy-back on March 25, 2008, the Company has so far bought back 18,61,680 equity shares aggregating Rs 230.34 crore.

The Board of Directors of the Company has approved buy-back of equity shares of the Company up to an aggregate amount of Rs 800 crore.
