Seamec - Updates
With reference to the earlier announcement dated March 07, 2008 about the Contract entered with M/s. Sime Darby Engineering Sdn. Bhd. for deployment of Vessel Seamec Princess in Qatar for a firm period of six months with an option for extension of three months. Subsequent to the above, Seamec Ltd has informed BSE that the Company had entered into a Contract with M/s. Workboat International FZCO, Dubai dated March 26, 2008 for the deployment of said vessel SEAMEC PRINCESS in Persian Gulf / Middle East for a firm period of six months with an option for extension of three months.
The vessel is likely to be mobilised towards end November 2008 / early December 2008 immediately after the completion of existing charter with M/s. Sime Darby Engineering Sdn. Bhd. The contract value during the period will be about USD 12.30 Mil.
