With reference to the earlier announcement dated July 09, 2008 regarding commencement of Charter hire with Condux SA DE, Mexico with effect from July 08, 2008, Seamec Ltd has informed BSE that The vessel while operating at offshore Carmen Mexico, subjected to an accident on July 16, 2008 coming into contact with the platform of client of Charterer.

The magnitude and Quantum of damage caused to vessel and platform are being ascertained. All steps are being taken to put the vessel back to Charter on a fast track.
