Shreyas Shipping - Cancellation of MOA for purchase of petroleum tanker vessel
Shreyas Shipping & Logistics Ltd has informed BSE that the Company had signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for purchase of a petroleum tanker vessel. Parallely, the Company has conducted exhaustive market research on the prospects and business opportunities in the tanker trade and has formalised a business plan for the tanker business.
The intended vessel was specifically identified so as to suit a particular arena of business. This proposed opportunity for which this tanker was proposed to be purchased is not immediately available. The Company has, therefore, cancelled the MOA for purchase of the said tanker vessel. The Company shall continue its exploration of opportunities in this segment of business.
