Spanco Telesystems & Solutions Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has entered into a Joint Venture (JV) with Shyam Group. The TV Company inter-alia shall operate in the field of Neutral Host Telecom Infrastructure Sharing, Broadband, Data Centers and all other related services and also develop / acquire telecom related products and provide services, etc.

This Joint Venture is in synergy / line with the robust expansion / growth plans of the Company and its existing business model / structure. This Joint Venture shall enhance Spanco’s presence & offering of services and shall mark Spanco’s entry into Consumer Oriented Services business which shall give Spanco an opportunity to ride the current retail economic growth.

As one of its initiatives, the Joint Venture Company has entered into an Agreement with Punj Lloyd Ltd to acquire its interest in Spectranet, its Internet Service Provider (ISP) division.
