SPEL Semiconductor Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 20, 2008, inter alia, has decided to approach the Ministry of Industries, Government of India for making due representation to withdraw / cancel their approval for establishment of SEZ, as the Company is not in a position to execute the SEZ project.
