Star Paper - Updates on Outcome of AGM
Star Paper Mills Ltd has informed BSE that the shareholders at the 69th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on February 29, 2008, inter alia, have also accorded to the following:
1. Adoption of the audited Balance Sheet of the Company as at September 30, 2007, the profit & Loss Account for the period ended on that date and the Reports of the Directors’ and Auditors thereon.
2. Re-appointment of Mr. P N Ghatalia and Mr. S V Goenka as Directors of the Company.
3. Re-appointment of M/s. Lodha & Co., Chartered Accountants, as the Auditors of the Company for the next year and to hold office from the conclusion of this Annual General Meeting till the conclusion of next Annual General Meeting of the Company, on remuneration, terms and conditions.
4. Re-appointment of Mr. Madhukar Mishra as Managing Director of the Company for a period of 3 years with effect from July 01, 2007 to June 30, 2010, on remuneration, terms & conditions.
