Sugal & Damani Finlease Ltd has informed BSE that as per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court of Madras, a meeting of the Equity shareholders of the Company has been held on February 16, 2008 for the purpose of approving the Scheme of Amalgamation of Sugal & Damani Share & Stock Brokers P. Ltd, Sugal & Damani Securities (Madras) P. Ltd and Sugal & Damani (Chennai) Share Broking Ltd with the Company. The Scheme of Amalgamation has been duly approved by the shareholders unanimously.
