Suryodaya Plastics Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 16, 2008, has unanimously given their consent for conducting a postal ballot for passing of the resolution under Sec 293(1) (a) of the Companies Act.

The Board of directors have:

a. Appointed Mrs. Hema Gaitonde, Practicing Company Secretary as the Scrutinizer for the postal ballot process.

b. Fixed the last date for dispatch of the notice of the postal ballot as May 23, 2008.

c. The last date for receipt of ballot papers from the shareholders is June 23, 2008.

d. Results of the postal ballot will be declared at the Registered Office on June 26, 2008.
