Tata Communications Ltd has announced the following results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2008:

The Unaudited results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2008

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 588.60 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 1595.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has decreased from Rs 11229.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 8854.50 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008.

The Audited results for the Year ended March 31, 2008

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 3044.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 5153.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has decreased from Rs 39355.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 34493.40 million for the year ended March 31, 2008.

The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 103.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 154.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has decreased from Rs 88494.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 85265.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2008.
