with reference to earlier announcement dated May 22, 2008 regarding Book Closure, Torrent Cables Ltd has clarified to BSE that the Closure of Share Transfer Books and Register of Members from June 23, 2008 to July 01, 2008 is for both the purpose of Annual General Meeting and to ascertain the eligibility of the members of the Company for payment of dividend for the financial year 2007-08.
