Transgene Biotek Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 30, 2008, inter alia, has considered the proposal for conversion of interest free unsecured loans brought in by Dr. K K Rao and associates, Promoter of the Company. It was decided to convert the same into equity subject to the approval of the Members of the company at a price to be determined as per the SEBI (Disclosure & Investor Protection) Guidelines, 2000.
