Tuni Textile Mills - Updates
Tuni Textile Mills Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company has made following announcements :
1. That the Company has successfully come out of the purview of SICA / BIFR. The Honorable BIFR (Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction) vide its order bearing no. 29/2001 dated November 22, 2007 has discharged the Company from the purview of SICA / BIFR and the Bench-1 of the BIFR has issued necessary direction to Company with formalities as may be required.
2. That in terms of the settlement reached between the MA (Monitoring Agency) Viz. State Bank of India, the Company has successfully repaid entire amount of Rs 300 Lacs of compromise proposal to State Bank of India, and the later has issued a no dues certificate to enable the Company to file satisfaction of charges with Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai. The Company has accordingly filed Form No. 17 to the concerned Registrar.
