Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd has informed BSE that the members at the 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on February 27, 2008, inter alia, have accorded the following:

1. Adoption of the Directors? Report, Auditors Report, Audited Profit and Loss Account for the year ended September 30, 2007 and the Audited Balance Sheet as at September 30, 2007.

2. Re-appointment of Dr. A C Muthiah as a Director of the Company.

3. Re-appointment of M/s. CNGSN & Associates, Chartered Accountants, Chennai, as Auditors of the Company to hold office from the conclusion of this Annual General Meeting (AGM) until the conclusion of the next AGM of the Company, on remuneration, terms & conditions.

4. Appointment of Thiru Ashwin C Muthiah as a Director of the Company, liable to retire by rotation.
