With reference to the earlier announcement dated January 11, 2008, regarding Issuance of Unified Access Services Licences, Unitech Ltd has informed BSE that the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India (”DOT”) has granted Licences to 4 subsidiaries of the Company for providing Unified Access Services (UAS) in respect of 12 telecom circles and the Licence Agreements in this regard have been signed on February 28, 2008 by the said subsidiaries with DOT.

The Licence Agreements for remaining telecom circles are expected to be signed in a day or two.
