VBC Ferro Alloys Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 17, 2008, inter alia, has considered and decided the following:

1. Decided to recommend the payment of dividend @ 20% on 41,94,350 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each for the Financial Year ending March 31, 2008.

2. Decided to get approval of members through postal ballot for providing Corporate Guarantees.

3. Accorded approval for proposal for raising resources by way of Rights Issue, subject to the approval of the Members and all other Regulatory authorities, wherever applicable.
