Wipro Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held from July 17, 2008 to July 18, 2008. However, the accounts would be finally approved by the Board of Directors only on July 18, 2008. The Board of Directors will consider and approve, inter alia, the following items:

1. The audited standalone financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 (Q1) under Indian GAAP requirements.

2. Audited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 (Q1) under Indian GAAP requirements.
