Haryana Fibres Ltd has informed BSE that the name of the Company has been changed from “Haryana Fibres Ltd” to “Alchemist Corporation Ltd” with effect from June 10, 2008.
A certified true copy of Fresh Certificate of Incorporation Consequent upon Change of Name of the Company issued by Registrar of Companies, NCT of Delhi & Haryana.
Haryana Fibres Ltd has informed BSE that the shareholders at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on May 17, 2008, inter alia, has approved the special resolutions to change the name of the Company from “Haryana Fibres Ltd” to “Alchemist Corporation Ltd” subject to the approval of the Central Government and any other authority, as may be applicable.
Haryana Fibres Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 21, 2008, inter alia, has decided the an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting of the Company be held on May 17, 2008 for taking approval of the members of the Company to change the name of the Company to “Alchemist Corporation Ltd”, subject to other approvals and consent as may be required under the applicable laws and regulations.
With reference to the earlier announcement dated March 19, 2008 regarding fixes Record Date for interim dividend, Haryana Fibres Ltd has now informed BSE that in view of the decision of Board of Directors, regarding not to declare interim dividend on equity shares of the Company for the financial year 2007-08, at the meeting held on March 24, 2008, the Record Date fixed by the Company for the purpose of payment of interim dividend as “April 08, 2008“, stands cancelled.
