The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 7681.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 5500.50 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 17337.70 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 23202.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008.
The results for the Year ended March 31, 2008
The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 24362.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 15703.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 58632.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 81960.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2008.

The Group has posted a profit after tax attributable to the corporation of Rs 27121.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 17419.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 63939.20 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 88902.20 million for the year ended March 31, 2008.
