Subex Ltd on April 08, 2008 has announced that it has won a contract from Fintur Group, a major mobile operator consortium located across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, to deliver Fraud Management solutions across all its group companies. The project is being integrated by Gantek Technologies. Gantek acts as the turnkey solution provider for the whole deployment. The deployments will initially start with Moldcell (Moldova), Geocell (Georgia), Azercell (Azerbaijan) and Kcell (Kazakhstan).

After a thorough evaluation process, was selected to deploy its Nikira? Fraud Management system, a key component of the strategic Revenue Operations Center (ROC), across the four operators with a further three to follow during the course of the coming months. Subex Ltd on March 19, 2008 announced that a leading mobile communications provider in Poland is implementing its Nikira? Fraud Management system.

Subex Ltd on March 05, 2008 has announced the launch of Optima? 4.5, a new version of its Route Optimization system designed to help telecom operators better manage network cost information, analyze the impact of current operator tariffs and provide forecasts on future operator tariffs.

Subex Ltd has informed BSE that in the limited review report of the Company for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, the Auditors of the Company have made the following observations:

“As explained in Note 10 of the statement the Company has filled a Scheme of arrangement with the Honorable High Court of Karnataka for the transfer of it’s Services Business to Subex Technologies Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary, with an Appointed Date of September 01, 2007 (the Scheme). On the Scheme being effective, the excess of the carrying value of the net assets of the Services business over its estimated Enterprise value. is proposed to be debited to the share Premium Account of the Company, rather than being written off to the Profit & Loss Account for the period. As per the valuation report provided to us, such excess is estimated to be Rs 398.6 million. Pending approval of the Scheme by the Honorable High Court, no adjustments have been made in the books of account.”
