The Ugar Sugar Works Ltd.’s Jewargi Unit having 2500 TCD cane crushing capacity, 15MW co-generation with a diversified product mix has commenced its trial sugar production on April 29, 2008.
This unit is expected to go for full fledged production from sugar season 2008-09.
