COMBINATION RIGS.
Rotary-cum-percussion is the combination method of
percussion and rotary drill. It is not practicable to
put one drill for one operation and get another drill
for second operation. Combination drill is used so that
any drilling operations can be done depending upon the
condition of the site. These drills are used generally
for alluvial formation comprising boulder rocks.
RATED CAPACITY :
165 mm dia. Holes upto 300 mtrs. by DTH method
in hard rock and 203/215 mm dia. Holes upto 300
mtrs by mud rotary method in alluvial soil.
406/445 mm dia. Hole upto 60 mtrs. by mud Rotary
method through reaming operation.
PULL DOWN :
Through hydraulic cylinder and wire rope. Pull
down force variable upto 16,300 Kgs. Micro-Feed’
and Hold-back arrangement.
PULL UP
(HOISTING) :
Variable up to 13,400 Kgs. High speed hoisting
provided.
ROTATION HEAD
Top drive hydraulic motor driven through gear
train immersed in oil bath providing infinitely
variable speeds of 0-100 RPM.
